Whimsical Yogis is where we combine the joys of yoga and mindfulness with the enthusiasm of children to create a family yoga experience like no other. Our aim is to help families feel more balanced, connected and happier through yoga and mindfulness, while promoting positive social emotional learning to children.
As a 200 hr yoga teacher with over 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I understand how children are dealing with BIG emotions and need guidance to manage them. That is why we use yoga and mindfulness as a tool to help children gain self-awareness, learn how to make decisions, self-regulate, and develop social awareness and relationship skills. We believe that by giving children these experiences and teaching parents strategies on how to implement them at home, we can make a positive impact on their lives.
In addition to promoting social emotional skills, yoga also provides various physical benefits, such as body awareness, balance, strength building, and flexibility improvement. We introduce yoga poses through playful activities, partner poses and partner teaching during each session to ensure that you and your little one will have fun while building a stronger connection.
At Whimsical Yogis, we offer various options for families to take part in our yoga experiences, including attending an event, joining an outdoor play group, or booking a family yoga session.
